PYE

PYE 2007

Eleven young people and adults from the Diocese of Atlanta headed to Bay St. Louis, Miss., for the Province IV Youth Event (PYE) this summer. Each day 15 work teams endured 95-degree heat as they traveled the area helping victims of Hurricane Katrina. They demolished, painted and helped with construction projects. The evenings were filled with singing, fellowship, small-group time and talking about the day's experience through video and personal narratives. The theme for the week was "In It, By It, Through It" and based on the Baptismal Covenant. The week was a great success and energized everyone for the Episcopal Youth Event (EYE) next July 8-13 in San Antonio, Texas.
