Jr. High Youth Opportunities

JR. DYC Retreat
A weekend retreat for youth in grades 6-8 and their youth leader/adult chaperone.  It is held at Camp Mikell the first weekend of December.  The weekend consists of small groups, which discuss issues related around the theme, singing, worshiping, a dance, and playing together.

New Beginnings Retreat                                                                                                                                                                               This retreat is designed to respond to issues, concerns and needs of teenagers in grades 6-9.  New Beginnings is a spiritual growing and renewal weekend that is held in the fall at Camp Fortson and in the spring at Camp Mikell.  The weekend is filled with talks, skits, sharing, praying and singing.  Each participant must attend with an adult sponsor.   Register or find more info on New Beginnings here...

HUNGER WALK
Every March the Hunger Walk takes place at Turner Field.  Youth groups (among others) raise money to support the Episcopal Charities Foundation.
